A breast lift reshapes sagging breasts to a more naturally rounded shape and repositions the breast, nipple, and areola to a more youthful position and projection. Men who are otherwise healthy and within normal weight ranges may consider male breast reduction to correct overdeveloped breasts and achieve a flatter and firmer chest. The procedure may be performed through direct excision or by liposuction alone. Excess fat or breast tissue is removed through an incision that is made in an inconspicuous location to minimize scarring. Swelling and bruising dissipate after a few weeks, although you may return to work as soon as a few days after surgery.
