Dr. McCormack completed her plastic surgery training at the prestigious Stanford University Medical Center. She is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and an active member of the American Society of Plastic surgeons as well as the American Society of Bariatric Plastic Surgeons. Dr. McCormack has authored several book chapters and journal articles that appear in current plastic surgery literature. She has presented at several national meetings and was honored first place for her research in the field of pediatric plastic surgery by the Plastic Surgery Educational Foundation in 2003. She was also awarded a research grant for her work in wound healing and scar formation.
